Consul Enunina V. Mangio is the 3rd female president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the country’s most prominent business organization, since its inception in 1978. A licensed chemical engineer by profession, Mangio owns several large businesses including Construction, Services and Casual Dining chain of restaurants. She’s engaged in several businesses including Servcare International Corporation, an international holding company with subsidiaries in the US, Asia, and Dubai, where she sits as President.
She is also the Chairman of the Board of Mawell Chemical Corporation, a Triple-A Electrical & Mechanical Contractor, and Choosers Choice Food & Development Corporation—a chain of casual dining restaurants serving Korean and Japanese cuisines with a total of 50 branches all over the Philippines. Dr. Dennis Hu is Chair of CACCI’s Asian ICT Council and President of the Foundation for Commerce & Culture Interchange (FCCI) in Taiwan. He established FCCI in 2010 to promote international cooperation and collaboration in Smart++ industries development.
Additionally, Dr. Hu currently serves as senior advisor at the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), having previously been the Association’s Director General of International Cooperation for over 15 years. During his tenure, he focused on international marketing, research of industry and technology trend, and government ICT policies.

Ruwan Amarasekara is a distinguished professional in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), with a career spanning over 3 decades with organisations such as Coca-Cola, EDS, IBM, SriLankan Airlines, Lanka Hospitals etc. in technology management, strategic leadership, ICT governance, sustainability, and transparency.
He has successfully implemented complex ICT systems such as ERP, sales force automation, airline and healthcare systems, logistics platforms etc. for multiple industry verticals in different regions in the world. He was the lead consultant that developed the specifications for key public sector systems that are being implemented such as Plastics Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system and e-Government Procurement (e-GP) System for Sri Lanka.
Over the years, he has been actively engaged in shaping Sri Lanka’s ICT landscape through his involvement in national initiatives, professional bodies, and industry development programs. Since 2002, Michael Lin has joined the incubator. He managed the ITRI Incubation Center for 6 years and got the 2006 NBIA Randall Whaley Incubator of Year award. By the in-depth evaluation of the business plan and the consultation with new startups, he incubated over 150 new ventures. In 2008, he left ITRI and joined National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) as their incubator manager.
During his management of NCTU IIC, IIC ranked as one of the best incubators in Taiwan for three years. Michael carried out several government projects to facilitate startups receiving business resources for growth. Since 2014, he has been the CEO of the Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy (IAPS) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). He is CEO of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center as well. IAPS focuses on new venture creation, incubation and business acceleration in Taiwan and creates a comprehensive startup eco-system for young entrepreneurs. IAPS was ranked as 2016 Top 7 university accelerator in the world by UBI. Since 2012, IAPS has carried the accelerator program sponsored by several government projects. Michael focuses on building international entrepreneurial collaboration among Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, US and EU. Mr. Anura Samarawickrema Lokuhetty is a respected figure in tourism and hospitality, currently serving as Chairman of the Asian Council on Tourism (CACCI) and an honorary member of The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL). With a career spanning over 40 years, he began as a Management Trainee at Confifi Group Hotels in 1978 and later became CEO. Lokuhetty is credited with pioneering Sri Lanka's first boutique hotel and developing several star-rated hotels.
He has received prestigious awards, including the Entrepreneur of the Year (2010) and the Central Bank Governor’s Award for Economic Excellence (2012). His leadership roles extend beyond hospitality, including Co-CEO of Miloda and Chairman of Red Apple Travel & Holidays Lanka, among others.
As an advocate for sustainable tourism, Lokuhetty promotes conservation and community participation, emphasizing a balanced approach to tourism development. He is also a frequent speaker at international forums and media programs.
Vice Chairman, World Tourism Council
An outstanding business professional with experience in brand marketing and sales management with renowned multinationals such as Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, and Diversey Lever India. His extensive career includes building power brands like Dettol not only in Sri Lanka but in the South Asian region where he has made significant contributions to brand development and strategic marketing.
Dr. Athukorala’s exceptional achievements have been recognized with multiple accolades, including the prestigious ‘Marketing Achiever’ award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Business Achiever award from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Notably, he was the youngest and only individual to have given leadership to brand Sri Lanka as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and Sri Lanka Tourism. His expertise led to his appointment as the Commissioner General for the World Expo in Milan, where he showcased Sri Lanka on the premium global platform. Subsequently, he was recruited by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as the Portfolio Development Head for Sri Lanka and the Maldives, during which time Sri Lanka won the ‘Best Project’ award globally and Dr Athukorala received the Dr. A.P.J. Currently, Dr. Athukorala serves as the Vice Chairman World Rural Tourism Council overlooking Asia Pacific whilst he also heads an Indian AI Company covering Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Pakistan. He is also a Board Director for multiple companies in Sri Lanka, further solidifying his influence and expertise in the business landscape
Professor in Tourism Economics, University of Colombo
Prof. de Silva is the first Professor in Tourism Economics in Sri Lanka and currently serves at the University of Colombo, where he also coordinates the Sustainable Tourism Unit of the Faculty of Arts. Holding advanced degrees including a PhD in Tourism Economics from Vrije University Amsterdam and an MPhil in Environmental Economics from Maastricht, he has authored more than 90 publications and serves as Chief Editor of both the Journal of Tourism Economics and Applied Research and the International Journal of Sustainable Tourism. Prof. de Silva is also Secretary-General of the Tourism and Hospitality Educators and Researchers Association of Asia (THERAA) and a Lead Trainer certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
With extensive national and international engagement, Prof. de Silva is a member of key government advisory bodies in Sri Lanka—including the high-level committee reviewing the Economic Transformation Act—and contributes to policy development in tourism, sustainability, and economic transformation. He has held several senior leadership positions such as Director General of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management and has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Most Outstanding Tourism Education & Training Effort award in 2010 and the IFITT Best Talk Award in 2016. His academic influence extends globally as a visiting professor and resource person in universities across Asia and Europe, with notable contributions to strengthening academic collaboration with India and China.
Chairman, Pacific Asia Travel Association
After completing his studies at US East Coast Ivy Leagues (UPENN and Cornell), Peter Semone arrived in Asia and never returned to his native California. He is a recognized tourism expert and has been engaged in activities across the Pacific Asia region spanning industry, academia, and government. Since 2006, Peter successfully implemented multiple projects and consultancies funded by international development partners, including the Asian Development Bank, UN Tourism, The World Bank Group, Luxembourg Development Cooperation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He has been actively engaged with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) since the mid-1990’s, and was elected Chairman of the Board for two consecutive terms (2022-2026). Previously, Peter served as Chairman of the PATA Foundation and as a member of the PATA Executive Board and Board of Directors. Early in his career, he founded a destination management company and participated in several tourism start-ups in Indonesia. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to tourism marketing and destination human capital. He has crafted tourism policies, strategies and action plans for destinations at regional, national and municipal levels. Peter currently spends his time between Bali, Bangkok and Northern California, where he enjoys family and staying engaged with his international consultancy work

Dr. Sneha Malhotra is a chemical engineer and a Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policy professional currently serving as Associate Director – Energy Innovation and Technology at WRI India. As the former Chief Technology Officer at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, she contributed to several flagship initiatives—including the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the Electric Vehicle Mission, the Anusandhan National research Foundation (ANRF) and contributed to international dialogues, including the G20 Chief Science Adviser Roundtable and bilateral initiatives such as India–EU TTC and Indo–US iCET. As part of the Empowered Technology Group, she played a key role in evaluating and structuring high-impact Technology and innovation-driven cabinet notes of national importance.
Currently at WRI India, she leads strategic work on clean energy technologies with a sharp focus on green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), battery storage systems, marine decarbonization and critical minerals. Her work integrates policy, technology, and finance to drive low-carbon transitions in hard-to-abate sectors. Dr Malhotra holds a PhD from IIT Roorkee and brings cross-sectoral expertise spanning industry, academia, and government.
